And I suppose Avast would work if I only ran it without startups and/or in safe mode every time but I'd like to get to the bottom of this, its bothering me. This actually worked but it still had some trouble completing. Started my computer without any startup programs and I can't remember if it was in safe mode or not. It will freeze at about the same point every time and then eventually I'll get a bsod.
